Based out of beautiful Bozeman Montana, Acony Belles are an all female estrogen fueled musical trio. In a world of guy bands, these lovely ladies will melt your hearts and minds. This duo includes Besty Wise (Guitar, Vocals) and Chelsea Hunt (Fiddle, Vocals)

Acony Belles draw inspiration from luminaries like Gillian Welch, Patty Griffin and the Wailin' Jennys, while keeping in touch with the simple roots of Blues, Classic rock, Bluegrass and Americana.

Betsy Wise has played and taught music here in the Gallatin Valley for 20+ years.

Along with performing solo original music, Betsy writes, plays and sings with various bands locally including the Hooligans, White Sage, and most recently, and passionately, Acony Belles. Along with her private voice, ukulele, and guitar studio “Songbird Studio”, Wise leads the Montana Women’s Chorus, church congregations, GirlSing music camp, and children’s choirs.

 

Chelsea Hunt is a Native Bozeman Songstress who started playing fiddle just after she learned to walk. Chelsea has been gracing the stages of Bozeman venues with her sweet melodic musical presence for years, playing and singing with local bands such as Tyler James Brigade, The Innocents, The Booze Hounds, Weatherwood, and most recently Acony Belles.
